The community information assistance center is a combination of tools and data to assistance communities and their leaders in the development process. This center consists of a community comprehensive planning primer, community profile center and a community resource directory. SOUTHWEST COMMUNITY PROFILES
The Southwest community profiles during the pilot stage of the Southwest State University Data Information Center will focus on communities located in the Marshall. Minnesota primary service area. The community profile center provides information on community resources which includes information on utilities, economic development opportunities, available buildings, available labor, population data, housing information, education resources, medical facilities and recreational facilities. Information for these profiles was collected from community profiles prepared by participating communities and published by the Department of Trade and Economic Development.
